Audemars Piguet is the most prestige Swiss watchmaker, along with Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. Every timepiece manufactured in-house is still made using the old-fashioned hand-made techniques.

The decoration of a watches decorative form includes openwork, beveling, filing, engraving by engraver, polishing, then buff and finishing.

The Audemars Piguet watch group is composed of over a 1000 employees. The company comprises three production sites; Le Brassus (SA de la Manufacture d’Horlogerie Audemars Piguet & Cie), LeLocle (Audemars Piguet: Renaud et Papi SA) and Meyrin (Center SA).

Since 1999, Audemars Piguet has been the sponsor of the Queen Elizabeth II Cup, a Group One Thoroughbred horse race in Hong Kong, New Territories, China. Audemars Piguet also sponsors the Alinghi Sailing Team which won the America’s Cup in 2003 & 2007. In 2007, Audemars Piguet offered its support to the Clinton Foundation.

Like many other brands of luxury watches, Audemars Piguet has a number of ambassadors, such as Indonesian-French singer Anggun, Indian Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh, as well personalities and teams in different sport categories such as cricket, softball, golf, skiing, motor sports and sailing.

The Concord Tourbillon watches. The CEO Vincent Perriard introduces the C1 QuantumGravity. There is a preview of the previous model, the Concord Tourbillon Gravity.

The C1 QuantumGravity is presented in a 48.5mm Titanium & white gold case, holding a 3-day-power reserve movement. The seconds are on an external vertical wheel. Theres a vertical slide power reserve indicator with fluorescent nano-particle gel. The tourbillon cage is fitted outside the cage, but connected to the rest of the mechanism by cable-stayed bridges. The structural, skeleton and three dimensional dial, displays various subdials and time indications.

-Mechanical hand wound movement.
-Case of 48.5 mm diameter and 22mm depth, in Titanium and 18k white gold.
-5 sapphire crystals.
-Vertical slide power reserve with fluorescent nano particle gel.
-Black vulcanized rubber strap with 18k white gold folding clasp.
-Water resistance of 30 meters (3ATM).

-History
Founded in 1908 in Biel Switzerland the brand was created to design watches with the American market in mind. Concord was one of the first private label luxury watches to incorporate precious metals and gems in their watches and to make a wristwatch made of coins. In 1979 they had a major breakthrough with the invention of the Delirium Watch which was the thinnest watch ever made at the time at 1.98 mm thick. They subsequently released a delirium 2 which was even thinner at 1.5 mm.

In 2007 the company closed most of its existing dealerships as sluggish sales and lack of a specific market created a huge grey market that hurt the companys reputation. The launch of the C1 was highly touted and targeted the popular luxury sport market. The style and pricing were designed to compete with watches such as Panerai, AP and Hublot. With only a couple hundred dealers worldwide Concord was hoping for a grand launch into the Luxury sector. In 2008 Concord created two new C1 pieces; the C1 worldtimer and the C1 Gravity Tourbillion. The later won the prestigious Grand Prix dHorlogerie de Genève as Best design of the year 2008. In 2009, Alex Grinberg was appointed as the worldwide CEO of Concord.
