from what i understand nixon was born before ww1 and one thing about those old school generations was that they did not agree with interacial relationships and children so that statement does not surprise me. it’s silly for this guy with his modern beliefs to criticize a pres. who died almost 15 yrs ago about old school beliefs. i guess that’s what this guy does when he runs out of good idea’s for his show and needs to fill the gap.

nah, I think the welfare system should be reworked into a more incentive-based system to be more effective. My thoughts: All presidents are scum bags. Maybe they were good way way back, but politicians today are all scums, reps and dems alike. I personally side with republicans based on fiscal conservatism and the importance of everyone working hard to take care of themselves. I dunno, I think its common sense that we shouldn’t rely on government checks or welfare to supplement us. Many modern dems want a socialistic system that I just can’t believe is possible from a fiscal standpoint.

First, Nixon introduced Kaiser and many other insurance groups we now see today that screws you over and costs twice as much to run and is half as efficent as other industrial countries. Second, Reagan promoted the worst drug program (D.A.R.E.) as a smokescreen for helping out Turkey create the largest poppy seed farm in the world. The War on Drugs started because of him and the violence has grown ever since.
